How long are the workshops?
A: Workshops typically last one hour with the question and answer time. Attendees are welcome to stay after to ask additional questions.
Do workshops cost anything?
A: All workshops are free to attend, unless otherwise noted (some organizations use the workshops as fundraisers).
Can I host a workshop in my community?
A: Of course! Workshops can be hosted at schools, businesses, parent organizations, libraries or for a group of interested parents. Workshops are free of charge or can be used as a fundraiser for your organization. See the "Host a Workshop" tab for more information.
What is late-stage or short-term college planning?
A: Late-stage or short-term college planning involves working primarily with families with students that have less than 4 or 5 years to go before college. Largely, saving for college is too late and the focus has moved to determining how much it is going to cost and what alternatives are available to pay for it.
